The pair met on September 29, 2024, at Whiskey Mistress — each supporting one half of a couple. Little did they know that one introduction would lead to them walking down the aisle. The conversation that first night was effortless and before the night ended, Sanjay asked for Sharah's number and she didn't hesitate to give it to him. She expected to hear from him right away but, plot twist: she didn’t...

The call eventually came on October 17, 2024 while Sharah was on a solo trip in Malaysia (He claimed he had called a few days after they met; she still insists she never saw that call). That first phone conversation led to them talking every day. Instead of surface level flirting they weren't afraid to get deep with each other and what could have been quick check-ins were instead five+ hour calls as if getting to know each other had become their full-time jobs. 

By their third conversation, Sharah knew what was coming next. She told Sanjay confidently, “You’re going to be my husband.” Bold? Absolutely. Accurate? Without a doubt. 

After leaving Malaysia (a trip Sharah may have cut short to see Sanjay sooner than planned) she flew to New York to visit him. After reuniting in person they spent every second together that they possibly could. Five months later, Sanjay retired from his job, made the big move to Atlanta and they have been inseparable ever since as both their friendship and love continue to grow.

They got engaged on their one-year anniversary and will say “I do” on their two-year anniversary — November 8, 2026. What began as a spontaneous night out turned into a once-in-a-lifetime love and they cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
